New Year Kimono

I got this pretty kimono from the Lucky Board in MiuMin - it is a complete outfit. I am also posing in MiuMin's posing box, that they have have on sale in the kimono shop. You can feel like a precious kimono dolly!

I also got some tea in Atelier Kreslo, and a free Chinese New Year balloon at Purple Moon. I am drinking my tea in Itutu here.

A fun group gift from Vita's Boudoir is the Christmas Morning dress. It is in Vita's store along with her other Xmas stuff. I decided to keep on the Ivalde Betsy red trousers and collar. Analog Dog has some pretty hair out for free, including this Madison II hair (here in chili). I'm still wearing the ALB Dream ice skates 2011 and the U&R Dogs L'Olimpiade Pierced Earrings.

Today's advent gift in Ivalde's was this stunning Betsy red sailor suit. I'm wearing it with the dollarbie gift from ALB Dreams, Ice Skates (Morte), and the advent freebie for today from ALB, FabCat Earrings. I have tinted the group gift Dark Mouse Animal Print Bracelets to tone with the amber stone of the [ glow ] studio - Glossy Heart Necklace ( a 10 Linden prize in the Love hunt) and I'm still wearing the al vulo- giulia* malice skin from the diamond hunt. Here I am in the latest (November) Kunglers group gift, a stunning minidress. I am wearing it with the G. Field "Alex" Strap Shoes that were 50 Linden in the Halloween sale and I tinted my tights (a freebie years ago) to pick up one of the tomes in the dress. I also tinted the latest VIP group gift from Dark Mouse, the Animal Print Bracelets (originally black and white). My skin is a Tuli group gift from way back, with a free Baiastice lipstick. My necklace is no longer available (it was an old advent gift) but the turquoise earrings are freebies from Yak and Yeti. My hair is the not-free-but-lovely Oscar from Lelutka.

Autumn glories

In this post I'm displaying some lovely autumn freebies. My dress is free from G. Field: the bodice is in either orange or purple and the outfit includes gloves. The spectacular hat (a "peace dove") is a group gift from Vitabella. The pumpkin basket is a dollarbie from Schadenfreude, and it gives items when you click it. My necklace is as in previous posts and teh hair (not free) is Lelutka's Oscar.

Summer is ending, but I feel sunny and bright in this Mashooka group gift Raga Tunic top, Duh espadrilles (20 or 25 Linden) and freebie board bangle, Dark Mouse freebie Flights of Fancy earrings and necklace set, and Paris Metro gift of Adventure snake and leather pants. The hair wasn't free (Angels' Vivien in umber), but was just 70 Linden at the Dressing Room. I couldn't resist it, since it has a colour change headband which went very well with my tunic.
The first venue may not look very summery, but it is the Distrito Federal sim by Patch Thibaut, which is so imaginative and detailed, but sadly is about to close.

Back to freebiewear! The Seasons Hunt is still on and has some amazing stuff - look for the Shark to find the hunt gifts! The Itsy bitsy bikini is from Milk Motion, and the linen check shirt from pivaaca. The bracelet and earrings are Duh's hunt gift and whilst I was in there "D" came up on the lucky chair and I won these cool white canvas slip-ons. I already mentioned that the necklace is from Caroline's and the final hunt gift is the boat, from Kusshon. My hair was a freebie, Chai anxiety (in all colours) in Raspberry Aristocrat.

Not free were the Michami print dress and the adorable Rykiel hair from Lelutka.

Not feeling blue

Despite what I'm wearing, I'm not feeling blue at the moment. In fact I'm feeling pretty good about the freebies I picked up. The pretty Tristin blouse was free in the Mashooka hunt, the Kenaf hair was a subscriber freebie from SFBH, the sunglasses from Barnesworth Anubis were in the Rue d'Antibes hunt and I'm sure I got the SLink buckle dress pants free, I just can't remember when. The skin is the past group gift from Tuli, Audrey. The only thing I paid for were the straw button ballets by Duh. They were a whole 20 Linden from the Albero gatcha fair. The first picture was taken in Slow.

Olive elegance

I haven't been doing the 52 weeks of colour challenge, but this Olive outfit seemed just perfect for it this week. It is mostly put together from past hunts and gifts. The Janay dress in Olive was an item in the Ivalde treasure hunt, the Aviator Sunglasses were from Barnes in the Rue d'Antibes hunt, with JUNK's Zantedeschia Earrings from the same hunt. I think the LaGyo_Butterfly love ring was part of the Albero Kawaii hunt, together with Duh!'s Floral Linen Flats. I got the hair on SL Marketplace, Melanie in coral, a dollarbie from Edelstore. The Audrey skin from Tuli is a past group gift.
Two of the pictures were taken in the Costa Rica region, where the welcome centre has a whole heap of nice freebies, including the very elegant texture change touto hand-bag from Ludere.

Fashion for Life

The Fashion For Life fair is almost over. The theme this year was black and white photographers, and you see me here in the Arbus sim. I am wearing a 50 Linden outfit from Eshi Otawara "love me"; including the hairpiece, pants suit, gloves and feathery hearts. The fan was a freebie from Barerose in their store, the shoes are an old freebie from Tesla and the hair is (not free) Maitreya. I also bought a couple of charity donation items: the beaded jacket and the studded slippers in the second picture are from new-to-me shop Willow. I have kept on the heart "fur collar" and the basic pant suit from the first picture.

Late for St Patrick's

I'm afraid I'm a day late for the St Patrick's Day festivities. This lovely dress (including the shamrock tights) was a freebie from G. Field, whilst the shoes are still the group gift item from Alb Dreams. I also kept on the top from the dress in my previous post, as I liked the lacey effect it gave. I also wear a Genesis St Patrick's freebie necklace from a year or so ago and a luck board bracelet from Dark Mouse.

A happy new year to everyone! I'm celebrating in some cold-defying freebies. Starting from the top, my group gift Snowy Kitty hair in Mahogany, from Truth, includes the colour change bobble hat. My Female City sunglasses from the inventory library protect my eyes from snow glare. The woolly Sculpt vest in plum was a group gift from from Mashooka. I am still wearing the snug advent gift from Ivalde, the Arina red velour pants. And finally the Patchwork boots from Anuenue were a gift last Xmas.

I'm a bit late posting this, but it is a fun look so I will still share it. The grid was awash with halloween freebies, and this is a mixture of old and new (mainly new!). The Cleo hair was a Truth subscribo gift and is beautifully textured. The web sweater was a Halloween freebie from Nicky Ree and the Black Pharoah staff cost just one Linden from Tekeli-li. The skirt and the fur armlets (part of the sleeves originally) are from the Halloween outfit from Towa. The spiderweb stockings were part of the wonderful freebie sets at G.Field and the Patchwork Ribbon Boots were from the Gatcha at Anuenue. Finally, the last year's gift is the pumpkin scarf Petit Ange. The pictures were taken in Creamshop.

We are certainly into autumn now, but there are still some sunny days. I'm prepared for the time of year in this cardigan by Pig which was a Seasons hunt gift, the ruffle socks from G.Field that were a group gift and cosy freebie boots from Duh. The denim pants were a lucky board item from Pop Feel, which has had some very nice freebie items recently. The apple chair was also a prize in the Seasons hunt (from Art Dummy & LISP). The Mala armband and earrings were freebies in a hunt some time ago by Mashooka. My Falling Leaves Belly Ring is a group freebie from Earthstones. Tuli's Audrey skin was a group gift. The hair was not free though: it's Maitreya's Miabella.

This is a fun look I put together to feature a free dress that I discovered in a coffee bar! It is the Kimono Dress from Wings Of Angel (on the Miyazaki sim). Whilst I was on that sim I picked up a couple of items from lucky chairs, including these dark glasses: GlassQ-02G from Zebra. Under the dress, I am wearing the glitch pants from the group gift from NRD: the Keira Orchid dress. I think they make stunning leggings. I have a couple of freebies from the recent Hair Fair: Bliensen + MaiTai Vintage Earrings and the Alana hair from Mina. My shoes are another great freebie from Vinyl Cafe: Black Canvas Stilettos. Finally, the skin was a group gift of Audrey skin from Tuli.

Utopia 4 has no shops and no freebies - in fact it doesn't have much at all in the way of civilised society, more of a distopia really - but it's a stunning sim to visit.
I am mostly wearing booty from a trip to the broadcasting studio of Fabulously Fashion, where there are quite a number of gifties laid out. I am wearing the Retro t-shirt from Mechanism, pants from a suit by SySy, Joey hair by MADesigns, NX Dark earrings and necklace by Alienbear Gupte, shoes from the Natasha outfit by Donna Flora, and sunglasses by Glow Studio. In this outfit I combine the height of couture, the skirt from the Sea Star dress by Paris Metro (a hunt gift) and summer casual, the Concrete Flowers Bieber Fever Shirt (group gift). Kloka has a new free pink vinyl bag out, and Dark Mouse gifted her group these Vintage Fleur Dis Lis Earrings this month. I already blogged the free Flip flops back to basics from IHS In her Shoes and I tinted a past gift (DSN or hair fair) FUEL's Flowery peacock hair accessorie. The Lelutka Lola skin was part of the wonderful Orta opening subscribo gift in Heartless City and I picked up Exile's Leslie hair free at some point.

A wonderful summery look that wasn't completely free, but put together for about 200Linden. Free were the Izumiya leather bracelets (free in store), the G Field Hibiscus Hair Clip (past hunt gift) and the Dark Mouse Straw Summer Bag (past group gift). I got several items at the Dressing Room, for 70 Linden or less: booN's LOK255 hair in pink, the glow Folk Green Drop Earrings and the Tuli Gina 02 skin. I also had great finds at the Vinyl Cafe where there are excellent freebies, and the Boho chic gown in brown which cost 25 Linden, with a similar price for the Wrap Sandal in red.

Gainsborough lady

This gown from Kouse's Sanctum is called Boleyn Girl, but with this hair from Boon (enigmatically called XFE275 hair purple) I thought it looked rather more like a portrait by Gainsborough, with the hair acting as hair and hat. The gown is a free gift when you sign up to the subscribomatic in the shop, and I also got the Antigone earrings for free by rummaging in the Kouse's Sanctum trreasure chest (you only have to wait a minute between rummages). The hair was not free, but came in a pack of 4 different hair for only 70 Linden in the Dressing Room (where several different designers offer cheap limited-time goods).

I was sad to see that Coquette was having a closing down sale, but I profited by buying an alluring fatpack of coquettish lingerie for only 75 Linden. Whilst I was doing a skimpies shoot, I thought I would also try on the glossy swimwear I got as a freebie from DNR. I found the new group gift from G. Field, the halter top, goes beautifully with the skirt from the June 2010 Sascha group gift, a pretty floral dress. A real summery feel is added by the goldfish fanny pack which is a dollarbie from Concrete Flowers (where the pictures were taken) and the wedges which were a former group gift from ALB Dream. The salt taffy bangles were a former freebie from FBG, and the plastic heart earrings from Schadenfreude. My hair was one of the sale bargains from the Hairy Situations close down, and the skin is Sayuri, a former group gift from Tuli.

Another amazing gift from Towa is this short wedding dress in green. It comes with the headress and veil. The Dark Mouse Leaves Bracelet in Silver was a group gift and I am also wearing the Kitty Cyrus Pearl necklace and earrings from Alienbear Gupte. To complete the wedding look I have a simple little Petit_bouquet by terre that I picked up some time ago. My hair was not free: Zero Style's Midori and neither were the Jolie Barefoot High Base Mikaela shoes from SLINK. I am wearing the same Sayuri skin (former group gift).

Glamour

This is one of the Baiastace 3rd anniversary dresses that everyone's been blogging. It's a stunning gown with a dramatic sweep of lacey skirt and a bow on the left shoulder. The Dark Mouse Alex hair seemed to work well with it (the flowers are part of the hair), and I also kept on the lace wrist bands from the Mashooka gloves in my last post. The Mashooka Isha earrings also seemed just perfect. I love the Alienbear Gupte Kitty Cyrus pearl necklace: the textures are gorgeous. Finally, I pulled an Orchid Dreams parasol out of my inventory. That shop closed down last year, but when I checked (more in hope than expectation) I found to my delight that it has reopened in a little skybox, with a selection of items, including this parasol!

Here I've got on some more freebies from the Mashooka hunt: the Blossom blouse, the Isha earrings and the white lace gloves from the Mireille set. The blouse matched almost exactly the cocktail skirt that was a group gift from Sascha in January 2009 (all her group gifts are still available in her shop). I'm also wearing the free hair from Dark Mouse, Alex, in the licorice colour. The Mikaela shoes from SLink are still worn, and my group gift skin from Tuli, Sayuri.

Delicate spring

I decided that spring - or possibly even summer - had come with this delicate ensemble. I dusted off the G.Field Straw Floppy Hat in beige&white ribbon, which was a gift lat year, and fitted it over the kik miss*long hair that I got for 30 Linden. I tried on some more of the hunt-gift Mashooka Arpita collection - the armband and necklace. The dress was a gift from Towa once I joined their group: the sweet white dress. I have copied the skirt (attaching a copy to both pelvis and stomach) to make it longer and fluffier. The shoes were an extravagence: definitely not free, they are the new SLink Mikaela in gold, with foot-in-shoe.
I picked up the balloon free outside an art gallery: it was a neon flower balloon from Usako.

Mashooka gold

Mashooka had a hunt (actually you didn't have to hunt - the boxes were all lying around in view!) Of the many prizes I am wearing the Arpita earrings and nosering, and the Spring dress in green. I have shown a back view here because I think the gold straps at the back are particularly lovely. I tinted some old Royal Blue Tintable Footless Tights and wore the subscribo-gift Maitreya shoes in gold. I paid 30 Linden for red kik's miss*long hair (I tinted the hair ornament gold), but in the 2nd picture I still have on my Zero Style (priced) hair from the last outfit. The Fairy Tail Bracelets were a Linden, but they might not be available now. My skin is Tuli's group gift of Sayuri tone 1 and the freebie Nail polishes are still available at the remodelled Ibizarre (on the counter).

It is still magical winter in Zero Style. My feet in the Baby Monkey Wanda wedges in Ginger (old group gift) got a little chilly, but the Mr.Poet Wide Scarf (free in store) kept me snug. The dress is the Kunglers April group gift and under them I have Royal Blue Tintable Footless Tights (former instore gift). The Fairy Tail Bracelets are a dollarbie instore, and U&R Dogs' HelloLove Pierced Earrings were mine for 15 minutes of camping. The flirt Bloom Ring was a freebie at some point. Tuli's Sayuri tone 1 skin is a group gift (though you have to pay to join the group) and I paid for the hair: Zero Style's Nanase (Dark Chocolate).

This is a sumptuous look, put together at the cost of 20 Linden! The black Kiki dress was the March group gift from Sascha. If you join the group you can still get it, since she generously puts up all the previous group gifts in her store. The April group gift is a very pretty pink confection!
The 20 Linden was spent on the Sakura II choker (10 Linden) and earrings (10 Linden) which from Alienbear Gupte: wonderful value for such pretty pieces, and the money goes to Relay for Life.
The W&Y model hair is the same as in a number of previous posts, I really love it, and I am still wearing my free Lelutka group gift skin.

I have a delightful Linden Home, and here I am relaxing in another amazing group gift from Kunglers, . I still have on my Lelutka group gift skin and the Tee*fy Red Packet Hunt leggings. Other old freebie favourites that you may have seen in previous posts are the W&Y no. 14 model hair, the GJK bird cage necklace from the Slice of Summer hunt and the Ear Candy boho earrings from a previous jewelry fair. The red Lizard boots from Shai that complete the look so nicely weren't free, but I snapped them up on a fifty Linden Friday (or it could have been a 60 Linden Sunday!)

Oops! I meant to post this look a couple of weeks ago, but better late than never! It started with the Sweetheart dress in black from Jinkies, which I got in the 10L car wash sale: though in fact it was less than 10 Linden! I wanted to make it a bit more demure, so it has the Remember Chloe - Starry Night - corset underneath. Round my neck I have Sari's Patched Up Scarf which I picked up as a freebie at lat year's clothing fair.
I'm wearing two bracelets: Violet Voltaire's Love in a Void Bracelet and the Valentine freebie from U&R Dogs, the Tweedle Dee Bracelet, and I'm swinging the Amy bag in dark red from Elegance Hats which I think I got at the Ivalde sim opening.
The Tee*fy leggings were a Red Packet hunt item, and the shearling boots were a free item in SF Design last month. The Couverture first hair:A was also a freebie, in this case a group gift, as was the Lelutka skin, IFElight-VAMP

Beach wedding

I wasn't going to do a Beach Bride, but when I got this Pop Feel maxi dress as a group gift, it seemed ideal, and the look fell together. The necklace and earrings may be a cheat, since I picked them up free at a Wedding Fair - but I think that in Chalice's Challenge it was only the dress that wasn't to be an official wedding item. I also realised I had never even tried them on - and they are really pretty, the butterfly on the necklace is very delicate!

The heart-emitting Mystique Rose was dropped automatically on people when they went near the dance floor on the Mystique sim (not sure if it's there any more) and is really cute. The Maxi Dress was free to group members in the Pop Feel shop. The Model 14 hair is from W&Y, one of their gifts at their new store opening and in my hair I am wearing the Oslo hair corsage from AtomicBambi. Chalice put out a wedding dress challenge, which was a wonderful idea: I'm a bit late posting, but here it is! The challenge was to use things in your inventory, that weren't wedding gowns. Therefore a number of these items are not available any more. In particular, I'm not sure that Wrong are still around, which is a pity, since this is a lovely dress. It would have looked classic on its own, but I wanted a bit more froth, so I added a petticoat and a fur wrap. The photo was taken at the Brigadoon chapel.

A lot of the hearts in these photos come from U&R Dogs. That includes the very cute doll that revolves round, emitting hearts. She was actually part of the gift box that U&R Dogs jewelry came in: their boxes are always lovely! I got the Adagio earrings through a 20 minute camp in their shop, the Partita necklace cost (I think) 30 Linden in the gatcha in the main store (it dispenses this necklace in different colours) and the bracelet is a "mailbox" gift in their shop on the LVS sim.

I am still wearing the Duh creamsicle backpack and Amacci hair. My blouse is a freebie in the Fri.day shop. The pants were a previous Valentine gift from Persona. Finally, these black shearling boots were a freebie in SF designs and under them (just seen) I have valentine stockings (sheer red, with hearts on them) from Tee*fy (whose tights everyone seems to be blogging!).

I snapped up this supercute :Duh!:: Creamsicle Backpack (dollarbie or freebie) and also a couple of pairs of Velvet Flats at the same shop (one pair a group gift, one a lucky chair item.) An amazing dollarbie was the Millette Elisabeth Arrogant necklace in green, which I paired with a past rez day gift (her rezday) from EarthStones of pretty green earrings. I am here wearing the Anuenue group gift (go instore to claim) of an Xmas Patchwork knit Tunic with free matching boots. I am cosy in the black tights that I got with an Ivalde dress. My dark hair is not free (it is Maitreya's Piper II in Coffee) but the blonde hair (by Liriope) is free as part of the Japanese "7 herb" hunt on the Roman sim. The rose scarf by *+.RP.+* is also a hunt gift. The indian bangles are free instore at the Zaara outlet near the Shiki store (mentioned in the last post). Wreathing my head is the colour-change Innocence garland from Evie's Closet: this isn't free either, but I actually obtained it free since I got a storecard as a gift in one of Evie's lucky dips. The skin is PixelDolls Catalina, Peachy!, which was a group gift. The main picture was taken on a very nice item from KIDD Creation: called "a piece of grass" it includes meadow, bench, poses and trellis and is only 10 Linden.

Finally, one of the Ivalde advent gifts was actually from Aurora Borealis (which has a shop on the Ivalde sim): the Tannenbaum necklace.

During advent Ivalde has been as generous as ever, with a gift every day. This post shows off two items: her Karin white dress and Agnetha snowflake bolero. I wanted to keep snug and the oyakin*summer-leggings*(light-blue) were waiting in my inventory andjust when I was looking for the right footwear the :Duh!:: Nordic Knit Boots arrived as a DSN gift. I had already picked up the Bliss Couture Crazy Hair (Black), free instore, and am still wearing the Ibizarre free nail polish (here in dark blue) and the Pixeldolls group gift Catalina Peachy skin.
Around the time of the jewelry fair I picked up the Alienbear Gupte Kitty Cyrus Earrings as a group gift, and round my neck is the Noel Necklace I found as part of the LVS hunt, from U&R Dogs. Finally, an advent gift from Kosh (in the box I'm holding) was the underground dawn bracelet.

...onto the ice rink. This ensemble is not low prim at all I'm afraid - I paid for both the biker jacket and the dress, and they were worth every Linden! The dress is a beautiful creation from Boudoir, the Black Lace dress. The skirt flows in movement and falls gracefully when you are standing still. The Biker Jacket from Grasp has rich sparkling buttons and buckle and the prims were easy to adjust. Myhair was from a new-to-me designer, Liriope. I went to get the freebie Christmas hair (an elegant updo in green, with a festive flower) and couldn't resist this flattering hair, Nat in black. I think the rest of my outfit consists of freebies: I'm still in the Pixeldolls group gift skin, the Miss Mara shawl was also a group gift from LeeZu Baxter and it fits very snugly. My boots were the amazing free black patent Soho boots from the Maitreya subscribomatic and I picked up the hooped Vertigo earrings at the Jewelry Fair from La Forgia Jewels. You can see me skating in the fun skating rink next to AnaLee Balut's shop.

This is a classic, cool look with some stellar pieces. The Maitreya soho boots are worth their full price, but for a mere click of their Subscribomatic instore you can get this versatile black patent and suede pair. I am still wearing my new favourite hair, Find Ash's freebie Normal Hair[Charcoal Gray]. I also still have the comfy dark leggings from the C'est La Vie lucky chair. With its own unique style, the Sugarcube former opening gift of the pine straw dress is sculpted loveliness. Caroline's Natural Rings necklace was not free, but very cheap, and its simple, yet unusual, gold links make an elegant statement. An element of whimsy is brought in by the GJK slice of summer bird pierce earrings. I am also wearingIbizarre freebie nail polish, and Pixeldolls' group gift Peachy skin.

A cosy look for autumn, with new freebies or dollarbies. The grey woollen dress and stripey leggings came from 20 minutes camping at C'est la Vie. Then there is a clutch of items from Find Ash: the normal hair was in a freebie board, and the Gothic Stole and Mixture bracelet were in Lucky Boards (lots of them at Find Ash at the moment). The stole includes the scarf and the necklace, which as you can see has a Halloween element (and the scarf is also colour change). The pumpkin theme is picked up in the earrings, which are Earthstones' Halloween freebie. The babouches are still my old favourites from 2g, and I am also still wearing the Pixeldolls freebie Peachy! skin.

There is lots of booty to be found at the jewelry fair! The SD True Dress in Golden (a group gift) and the cardigan by Kalmia (gift not longer available) make a lovely setting for these pieces. The jewelry was all freebie or dollarbie, from booths at the Fair. Firstly Bliensen + MaiTai's Vintage Earrings frame the face, and then Earth Jewel set out a number of freebies including this glistening Gallant Bracelet in Yellow Gold. One of the most popular dollarbies has been this beautifully made Geheimnis (secret) necklace from Shine. The nail polish is from Ibizarre again (firebrick) and the pretty leather slippers are free babouches from 2g. My hair is Avarice from Bishair (former instore gift).

This is a fun mashup from various sources. It started with the hunt in Festivale, with the Kissy Kissy hair from Tiny Bird and the Starlight skin from Aut. I had seen the sequinned trousers and bolero on the feeds: in a freebie box instore from Mayden (join the group first). It comes with a shirt, but I wanted something a bit different, and ended up with this former-freebie Celeste top from Pixeldolls. It has a sequinned feel and a cute buckle.

I felt it needed something adding, and I started with a recent freebie skirt from Sugarcube. But then this shortie Lulucia skirt dropped from ALB Dreams, and that was it. It is such fun, with lovely detail that you can see on the middle picture. The necklace and earrings were a hunt item (I think) from Ommik, Pendant & Bead item in Citrine, and the shoes were from Zenith in the Slice of Summer hunt. I still have on the freebie bracelet from Izumiya.

This outfit started with a Designers Showcase Network gift, VLW's Flowerchild Wreath in Teal and Yellow. I visited the store later, and you can get this in a number of colours for 25 Linden. It went nicely with another DSN gift, Tiny Bird's Olivia hair in Pepper. I wanted something flower child to put with it, so I visited Sari's. She actually had a free dress out, but I thought this one went better: it is 75 Linden, so didn't exactly break the bank. It is called the Ice Embers Dress. I must confess that it does not have shoulderstraps: I only just now realised that I had left on a Sugarcube undershirt: however I think the straps add to it ;-)

The skin is back to full price now, but when I was putting the look together, there was a call that this skin would be free for two hours: it is Firefall's Sofian Freckles Skin in Rose 2. Finally, I have the free IZUMIYA Bracelet in brown and (no longer available) Sasa shoes in "Blue Spring" by Orchid Dreams. The pose (not free) is by Lotta.

There is another lovely lucky chair gift from Icing, well worth the wait for your initial to come up. It is the Imperial Blossom dress in Pink, beautifully textured as ever. I have grown very fond of my ROSY MOOD Melon Flower hat hair (a Slice of Summer hunt gift). Whilst on a hunt, I visited IZUMIYA and found a set of Bracelets (this one Dark Brown&Pink) free on the shop wall. The gifts keep coming from the Designer Showcase Network, and the shoes are by Coriander, Silver Bow Pumps. Firstly, there are a couple of items from the watermelon (Slice of Summer, SOS) hunt that only has a couple more days to go! I am wearing the Cutey Honey sweet necklace and earrings. While I was there I got this very cute free/dollarbie hair from them.

The anklet is the SOS item from Rozoregalia. The dress is a DSN gift from WhoNose: the Riika dress, and I think there was a nice hunt gift from them too. The tights are freebies at Royal Blue, the "Line to the Crown" tights which have lines up the back with little crowns at the top. Finally, Nissa Rayna is unfortunately giving up her shop, and she had these boots marked down to 25 Linden.

This is a simple look using Slice of Summer watermelon items. My top is part of one of K's+m's gifts: zinbei for females and I have on with it Evie's Closet's hunt Empire Mini skirt (over the kinbei glitch pants). The necklace and earrings are some of the favourites of the hunt: wonderfully detailed GJK's slice of summer bird cage jewelery. The bracelet is limited colour change leather: the hunt item from fairy tail. My hair is also from the hunt: YUZUKMAIYA's Tsuyoshi+Bordeaux hair as are the shoes, part of Zenith's gift. The babydoll and jeans are a DSN gift, the Evita set from CIA Designs. There are some nice touches, in particular the red cord which makes the halter neck. The hair is also a DSN fift, from Adimu: the Oh My, Lye hair. I am still wearing the G Field hat that was part of the hunt there: now you have to pay for it and the Ibizarre Nail black polish which I found free in their store. The straw bag is a fun item and was the May group gift from Dark Mouse and the churiya on my left arm was in th Mashooka hunt a while back. The pumps were one of the many group gifts from Baby Monkey: red floral shoes.
This has been my costume on the watermelon hunt so far, so the next post will see me wearing items I got whilst I was on that trip!

This dress is just perfect for summer days, a poem in white linen from Mashooka. The Marilene dress was an item in their sale, reduced to (I think) 60 Linden. I'm wearing it with the G Field hat from their hunt, but the hats are now on sale in the main store. My hair is from Maitreya: Apple II, free at the hair fair a few weeks ago. The bracelet and necklace are two old hunt items: PR!TTY's Aila Bangles in Silver and the magnifying glass necklace from ICED. The shoes were a dollarbie, jewelled flats in ice from 50 Flats - they often have freebies or dollarbies in store. In the second picture I am holding a current Concrete Flowers freebie, a crystal ball.

After the fairytale dream, a beach reverie. A number of items were in the Yabu (mushroom) hunt, from the ever-pretty G Field (note that some mushrooms are very small). Then I followed up a notecard alerting me to a freebie at Donna Flora, and discovered a very interesting southern shopping district. I got a very striking freebie necklace from one shop (I may blog it in future) and also some freebie hair, also very striking, from Pocket Mirrors.

I joined the many people chomping at the Lucky Cupcake at Evie's Closet. I snagged a really sweet sweatshirt set that confirms that I believe in fairies, a little fairy friend that hovers round your face, a couple of storecards (I used one to buy my hair garland) and finally this wonderful Aurora gown. The outfit is completed with the long pendant that was a prize in the Yabu sim hunt. The pictures were taken near the Caverna Obscura shop, a very pretty area.

Some quick pictures of recent grabs. There were some very cheap items out on the LVS sim, and the dresses are all from there, as in one of the necklaces. The hair is from the current House of Heart free sampler in two cases, and the other hair is from the RELIC freebie board. Also in the mix are shoes from Baby Monkey, and some DSN jewel gifts.

Hair fair

In this post I show off a couple of items that were freebies or dollaries at the Hair Fair, plus some items from the new Fabulously Free HQ on the Car Wash sim. I picked up some nice hair and will be showing it off in future posts, but probably my favourite was this Angelica style from Rock Candy: a dollarbie pack included all colours. Sari's had freebie dreadlocks on her stand, but I'm showing her other Hair Fair gift, the Fringe Bene baby doll dress with beaded hem. The Peacock hair flower (there's a little feather at the top) was also free in the Fuel booth. I wanted some cover up for my legs, so I visited the Fabulously Free HQ and found a nice freebie pack from Malt which included a dress and these Genista jeans. Baby Monkey had been generous as usual, and the pretty red pumps and little red shoulder bag are from BM. To complete the outfit, U&R Dogs had donated pretty Cyprian bangles and matching earrings.
Later on I visited the new Yezibah sim, where Ibizarre has relocated. Although it was a whole 50 Linden, I couldn't resist the beach bag replete with goodies that you see in the second picture!

A quick post to feature two items from ALB Dreams and two from Duh! The skirt is a group gift from ALB Dreams which you find instore: join the LAMU group and make sure your group tag is activated. Since it does NOT come with glitch pants I kept on the Pizzacato Poppies pants and shirt - the waistband of that outfit seemed to go nicely with the multicolours in the skirt. The hair is also from ALB: a very unusual new style, and this colour was only a few Linden as a special offer.

I visited Duh! to collect the free clogs that everyone had been blogging - I think this pair was free as part of one of the hunts featured instore. However I was even more pleased with the Mosaic necklace - a distinctive design and a nice contrast between the various stones and gems. This was a group gift - I think a Subscribomatic group.

Two items from Earthstones made up the ensemble. The bangle had been free (it is almost an Earthstones logo!) , but it was single strand. It is Copy, so I made a copy, attached it to my hand and edited to place it over the wrist, then I wore the usual forearm-attached bangle too. The earrings (just seen) were a celebration gift last year.

I finally snagged the Pizzacato Poppies dress from the Lucky Chair at Icing, and as you can see, it's a dream. I accessorised it simply with the Floria bangles that were in a former GF Field hunt, a Kunstkammer necklace free in a St Patrick's day hunt and Maitreya pumps from the generous Suscribomatic gift pack.

My hair is NOT free: it's the luscious Piper II from Maitreya. My eyes are from Miriel and the skin was Nuclear Boutique (no longer available).

The "flying" picture was taken at the PopFuzz shop. It has a great "healing room" - when you go in and click on the floor, a night sky globe rezzes around you and you can click on a "float" ball.

En famille

This is the 75 Linden Famille dress from Sari's that I mentioned in my last post. Isn't it charming? I am still wearing the TooToo shoes from Periquita, and my Avarice hair. I added freebie stockings from Jill (look on her mainstore wall)

My jewelry is: GF Field's Floria bangle in pink (a hunt gift, now over), Ruffian's large pearl earrings (Ruffian is a great store of freebies/dollarbies), and Moontan's onyx marbles necklace (think this was a hunt freebie too).

And where am I? I'm stalking the lucky chair in Icing! It seems to have been through every letter except D, some of them twice. If I ever get the dress, I'll blog it.

Purple day

Today has been nominated a "purple" day to mark support for cancer survivors. I took advantage of Callie Cline's bargain offer - all of her Jeans at 50 Linden. These are the Floral Wash Purple jeans that were only released quite recently. I dug into my inventory and found the Periquita group gift TooToo shoes (I'm afraid this is past now) and also an old free hunt item by Sari's , the Robe Cardigan. When I checked out her shop I couldn't find the Robe Cardigan, but I did find lots of other things, all very reasonably priced (e.g. 75 Linden for the pretty Famille Rose dress, or 45 Linden for a top). In fact she has improved her texture work since this cardigan was made, but I kept it on as I felt it went with the overall look. The picture is taken in her shop.

Underneath this I had a previous "weekly freebie" from Concrete Flowers, namely their Beams offshoulder top (in grey) and also their current weekly freebie, the Cat Socks in Violet. The socks do actually have a cute cat design, but that is hidden by my jeans.

The earrings were the 5 Linden Relay For Life Zivanit earrings from Alienbear Gupte and the Cuff Up Bangels in Spring Fling are still in the Subscribomatic sign-up board at the Royal Blue main store.

My eyes are by Miriel, and the hair is BishWear's Avaraice.

Zoe agreed to model this stunning dress that was a Mother's Day freebie from Nicky Ree: the Satin Shine dress in blue floral. Of course, the plain pink version of Satin Shine is a constant freebie in her store, and the other colours are also good value. This dress has a fabulous chiffon skirt that swirls as you walk. Another freebie set goes amazngly well: the Vintage sets of necklace, bangle bracelet and earrings are all free in the (luc) store (formerly Earthtones) owned by Luc Lameth. This is the spring colour which picks out the colours in the dress. The headpiece and the spiral bracelet are part of the huge Slither set which Random Calliope offers free to all SL residents. You can pick up a substantial number of these sets in a package in the CILR building on Infolit iSchool. Zoe is wearing the Powder Blue version. Her hair was part of the free drow avatar that was previously available at Monsoon (I just blogged the current freebie at Monsoon, see the last entry). Her skin is the free skin at Fancy Fairy and her wings (just seen) are also from there, but not free.

Mystique journey

These lovely brown shoes, a subscribomatic gift from G Field, were the start of my quest today. Just go to their mainstore, click the group board (if you haven't already). If you are already a member, click the board, select History and look at the recent messages which have the gift attached.

In the first picture I am wearing Jill stockings (free on the store wall at Jill), a skirt which I'm afraid is no longer available (free from Bijou) and a top which is part of a current dollarbie set at Concrete Flowers. These are really versatile tops and come in a selection of colours. The jewelery is all freebie from Yak and Yeti and I have on my favourite Avarice hair.

In the second picture I have on the bodice, obi and skirt from the free set at Monsoon; the "Earth Fire" outfit which includes a lot more items including long flowing hair. I give a closeup of the fan tucked into the obi. With it I have the Basha hair which is free today in all colours at Dark Mouse. While I was there I picked up the freebie pack of jewels she has out, and am wearing the Fleur de Lys necklace.

All the pictures were taken in the lovely Mystique island. It is well worth a visit. You get the heart-emitting rose free when you walk, fly past the open-air dance floor area, and in the second picture I am doing Tai Chi in front of the temple.

Relaxing

This outfit results from the Mashooka sim celebration - there were lots of free little boxes scattered around, with delightful Mashooka garments inside them. Here I am wearing a blouse and trousers from the event.

While I was wearing this, Pixeldolls dropped a pretty group gift, lace collar and "gloves" from the Bella set. These are decorating my hands, together one of the Yak and Yeti bangle sets that are always useful.

My hair (Avarice from BishHair), shoes (Baby Monkey brown hide wedges), necklace (Uzuri's Rhama necklace, not free), skin (an old skin from a Relay for Life event) and eyes (Miriel, not free) are as in the last picture. I am relaxing at the home and garden exhibition that just finishes today, in a Queen Anne chair from GOS.

I had an enjoyable time in AM Radio's Welsh Lakes sim: 3 amazing artworks/ landscapes, one at ground level and two in the sky. The two sky ones are shown here. In the top one there are umbrellas tumbling round as well, and you can get a Mary Poppins umbrella free (it unfurls when you fly)
Anyway - on to the clothes. I'm afraid that the main two items in these pictures are not free, but the En Svale "chiffon dress" is adorable and cost under 200 Linden. The "Rhama" necklace is also priced, but one of many striking pieces at Uzuri.
The rest is free: this is another pair of freebie stockings from Jill, the brown cow hide wedges were a hunt freebie from Baby Monkey, and the bangles are from the free store Yak and Yeti. I'm yet again wearing the Avarice hair that I got free (though it's free no longer) from Bishhair.

Purple pleasures

Some great freebie-hunting started with the Periquita group gift shoes - a dream in aubergine patterned leather. I was seeking out mauve toned items to go with it and ended up with this spring-like combination. The tights were in a freebie pack on the wall of Jill: there is a pack of dark and of pale coloured tights. While I was there I joined the Jill group and snapped up the dress in the final picture, together with a couple of others - fun and flirty items.

However I didn't feel the black and white dress really toned in with the shoes, and it wasn't until I came across the light patterned summer dress above that I felt satisfied. It was possibly a dollarbie rather than a freebie from anuenue. The jewelry was free: the necklace and the earrings are from the Lucky boards at Twinkleberry: they change letters every 5 minutes and include a wildcard, so you don't usually have to wait too long to get some loot! The glowing bracelets are not free any more, but were part of the Easter Hunt from Alienbear Gupte. I am still wearing the Avarice hair from BishHair.

As Relay for Life is such a good cause I spent some of my Linden at RFL, but there were some good freebies too! In these pictures I am wearing SySy's freebie "Faith" dress, together with the jewels from Alienbear Gupte. Her Zivanit Earrings and the matching necklace cost just 5 Linden each, but they raised a good amount of money, they are such good value.
My "Tessa" boots were from the Bluebell Productions stand. The bracelet was a freebie that I think I picked up instore (not in RFL). It is from Girl's Style (GS) - the "Autumn" bracelet in pink.
I am wearing my Avarice hair from Bishhair (originally a dollarbie) and eyes from Miriel.

This post features a number of St Patrick's day goodies - so only a few hours left to snatch those! However the luscious dress is the March group gift from LVS&co - so just tp to their store and click the Update Group board to join the group and get your gift. The shoes are also a group gift - colour change wedgies from Baby Monkey (and note that this group is FREE to join again).
My glowing skin and the platinum/emerald necklace are parts of the Genesis St Paddy's hunt. The gifts are in tiny tiny boxes in the main store - the island is well worth wandering round (that's where I took the pictures). I'm also wearing Kunstkammer's gold medallion necklace from another hunt, GF Field's group gift ring (as before) and the other jewelery is from U&R Dogs. I found the earrings as a freebie in their store, the multistrand bracelet was mine for only 5 minutes camping, again in their mainstore (in Sepia) and the other bracelet was a St Patrick's freebie in their shop in Hope Valley.

You need to act quickly to get this freebie. Nicky Ree's group members can grab this stunning dress until Sunday 15th. You need to join the group, and the recent notice gives you the landmark - remember to activate your group tag. There is also a freebie for anyone - a lime green version of her Satin Shine dress, though that will disappear soon too (it is with the Satin Shine vendors in her Tropical Orchid main store).
In the top picture I am wearing my Avarice hair (formerly a freebie from Bishhair), bangles from Zaari put out for last year's Holi festival, and the 2008 group freebie that Alienbear Gupte made for her members: shamrock necklace and earrings.

St Patrick and more

Lots of St Patrick's Day goodies around at the moment - plus other treats.

In several of the photos I am wearing the Alienbear Gupte Longoria necklace and Pr!tty Aila silver bangles that are part of the "Most random hunt ever". You find the goodies free each in a flower in their respective shops. The rose ring on my finger is one of the gifts you get when you sign uo with the G.F.Field group and my green nails area St Patrick dollarbie in Petit Ange.

Mostly I am wearing the green boots with cute shamrock tags that come as a gift outside the Yabusaka store on Yabu. The long sleeved top and jeans with shamrock motif are part of the St Patrick gift in the G.F. Field store on Yabu (165, 94 24) (If you go there, then Yabusaka, mayuki nozaki and Petit Ange, are just across the street).
The long green checked dress is from mayuki nozaki (free) and the short frilled dress from Petit Ange (dollarbie). With the short dress I wear turquoise pumps that are a Maitreya gift if you join their group (together with 14 other pairs in different colours).
Perhaps prettiest of all is the Holi dress from Mashooka Designs. For 25 Linden you get this dress in 3 colours. It has a gilded sleeveless top and a drape scarf. In the last picture I show the whole outfit teamed with bangles that I picked up free this time last year from Zaara.

I journeyed to the Journey sim for their hunt and picked up a couple of pretty things. However, something caught my eye that wasn't in the hunt - namely this bubble dress from Ivalde. It is a freebie, on the wall in Ivalde's shop on Journey.

I also spent a LONG time haunting the lucky chair in Riddle, and eventually snagged the Giraffe heels in pink. I tried on the pink tiara from Violet Voltaire that was part of the Journey hunt, but this wreath looked prettier. It isn't free, but I think it's good value for 150 Linden, and it has a colour change HUD to change the colours of the flowers.

I was in Riddle to snag the Giraffe shoes (see the next post) and these jeans came up on my letter in the other lucky chair. Immediately I remembered the Painter shoes at the Gnubie store. My friend Zoe agreed to pose in some of her favourite valentine bounty. Only the hair and the skin are still available free, but it shows what lovely items can be picked up on the grid. The dress, skin and wings were free from Fancy Fairy. The main outfit was just for Valentine's Day, but you can still get the skin, some mint-coloured wings and some lingerie free at the main Fancy Fairy shop.
Her white hair is free as part of a Drow Avatar set, free at Monsoon. There is a plain version, and also a version which emits white blossom in a gentle cloud. The red hair is in a box, free by the Monsoon entrance, together with a hair stick and a free AO. The earrings were also a Valentine instore freebie, from Violet Voltaire. Her eyes were the only priced items (from Miriel).

Dark Phoenix

I thought I was going to be in that SySy red dress for a long while - then I tried on this freebie from the new store, Phoenix Rising (on the Einstein sim) ... it has a wonderful shape to the skirt which makes you feel like a queen. It comes with a version without the pink bows, too. With it I am still wearing the Bishwear freebie Avarice hair, and also some freebie shoes that I picked up a couple of days ago at the opening of the new Ibizarre shop. I think I got them on one of the upstairs floors. My diamond solitaire earrings and necklace were not free, but they were cheap in celebration of the Earthstones birthday, and they are beautifully made. I found them on a table with birthday champagne inside the Earthstones main store. Finally, the gloves were part of a LZB dress that I picked up as a freebie last Christmas.

Some lovely free and cheap items here! I grabbed the red dress by SySy from the The Ewing Agency VIP Guest list group. I love the feather effect on the skirt. There are another couple of lovely gowns in the Notices of this group at the moment.

The cherry-printed satin jacket was part of a suit that I got in the 50 Linden sale at Pixeldolls. Lots of good deals there. The amazing Avarice hair was a freebie from Bishwear that I picked up a couple of days ago. It is on a big poster towards the baclk of the shop.

The bracelet was a dollarbie in a little dollarbie-only store - Ruffian (Ecstasy City (20, 9, 50) it is on the fourth floor of the mall) - many bangles and some shoes, but get there quickly as the mall is closing down very shortly. The necklace was a freebie or dollarbie from ICED - as you might guess it is a Valentine day gift, instore. And finally the earrings were from Second Mirage (shop no longer in world) .

Fun in fur

There was a super satiny red dress as a group gift from Pixeldolls - a simple chinese style with cap sleeves. If you aren't a group member, go to their shop to sign up (click the sign - it doesn't count towards your 25 groups) and then click again to look at the archived notices.
I could have gone for understated - but then I found this fur coat that was a group gift from Baby Monkey a couple of months ago, and I went for more of a "currupt polititian's wife" kind of look instead. To be honest I'm not a big fan of prim "fur coats" but I thought this one was fun.
The red shoes were valentine freebies last year (Red Diamond Slippers) from Tres Beau Designs and once again I've got teardrop earrings from Miriel. To start with I kept the geisha style hair from my last outfit but one, then I tried two hairstyles from Tukinowaguma: the dark updo is style "Nadeshiko" (which I remember being very cheap) and the gold/red piggies are called Natumi (a freebie at the time). The fan was another discounted item from the Orchid Dreams clerance sale.

A quick post to show a dashing red suit that can be found in pieces as a treasure hunt on Isle Rfyre. There is a male and female version, but to be honest as I didn't find all the women's version, I mixed in some items from the men's suit, and it looks OK to me! The hunt is only on for another couple of hours. The hunt encourages you to explore the island - a very nice spot with romantic waterside seats and temples.

Kimono dreams

This post features kimono that are free in the Li Chi Shop in Little Yoshiwara, Milarepa (117, 144, 43) - these pictures were taken in Milarepa (a sim that mixes Japanese shops with cute oriental houses to rent). I am wearing a mix and match of the 3 free kimono - with the basic Kyoto Red kimono I have the obi upper from the Pink Flower kimono and the under obi from the Pink Dragon. Also free in the shop are some one-prim cabinets and pictures.

The hair was bought at a discount from Orchid Dreams (now closed, alas) and the teardrop earrings were part of the Miriel jewellery freebie. The black hair-flower is kept from my last look - it comes with the G Field rose shoes (not free). Finally, the boots are not exactly traditional, but they are good for cold weather! They are the Kookie "Muggy cupcake" boots that she just sent out as a free group gift, so if you join the Kookie group you should find them in a notice still.

Sashaying in Sascha

A variation on my last look - just changing the dress and a few details. The dress is the January group freebie from Sascha's Designs. Just go in the store and you will come across a big arrow pointing to the vendor - you need your group tag activated, of course. It is a pretty, lacey sleeveless cocktail dress, with a prim scarf round the shoulders. I kept on the bolero from the previous outfit (it is definitely still winter here!) - but I changed from the woollen tights to a smoother pair (that used to be free from G.L.A.M.). I also swapped the pearls - the G Field freebie contains a light and a darker necklace: the previous outfit featured the dark mix and in this photo I'm wearing the light mix. In this picture you also catch a glimpse of the black hair rose that comes free with the shoes.

Winter warmer

In RL I've been a teensy bit ill for some weeks - so inconvenient! However, I'm getting better now, so I was able to spend a little time camping in a lucky chair - only 10 minutes required each for the bolero and the dress! It's a sweet grey woolen combination that is perfect for winter. In the same sim as Mayuki Nazaki (dress designer) is G.Field. I picked up this lovely necklace as a freebie, and this reminded me of my black G Field rose shoes - not free, but so pretty.
The hair is in the colour "mocha" - at the moment in House of Heart you get a free wearable (non demo) mocha hair in any style where you take a demo version. Great value! The tights are from a priced set called Indian Summer that I bought from Battered Boudoir a year ago.

Perfect secretary

This post is mainly to show up a very fun thing to "wear", namely Grimalkin's Deskjockey - it includes the desk, clock, filing cabinets, papers and lamp! I got it for a few Linden, but I think it is priced now. With it I am wearing a perfect outfit to play the perfect secretary, namely Ivalde's Miranda black skirt set. I got it half price during her "black items at half price" sale. I just wore the simplest of accessories with it - a Talisman pearl droplet and Serenity earrings from Second Mirage. The rose-trimmed black suede shoes, from GF Field, provide some individuality to the outfit. The hair is Bavaresi from FD in Expresso.
